Can the Preview
of Version 2000 coexist in the same machine with
previous versions?
Yes, Janus GridEX 2000 can coexist in the same
machine with Janus GridEX 1.5x/1.6x.

Does my code
still work with the new version?
Yes, a converter application is provided for
upgrade your VB projects using GridEX 1.5x/1.6x to
the new version.

When
the final version 2000 of the GridEX control will be
released?
It will be released during
the first days of January 2000.

How is the
functionality in the trial version limited?
The trial version displays a nag screen, and it
will work only for 30 days. Also, applications
compiled with the trial version will not work in
machines different than where originally created.
The source code for the
"NorthWind Advanced Sample" is included
with the retail version only.

No, an upgrade fee is
required for this new version.
What if I just bought the
1.5/1.6 version of the control?
People who bought the controls during the months of
November and December of 1999 are eligible for a
special Upgrade Price.

How is the license policy for
the controls?
One license per developer machine is required.

Do I have to pay redistribution/royalties
for using the controls in my applications?
No, once you have completed the registration
process ( via e-mail ), and received your
"Authorization Key" the User Agreement
gives you the right to redistribute the controls
with your compiled applications, without any royalty
payments.
